Oh, that Alexa Chung always thinking out of the box. Literally. Not content to have a Mulberry handbag named after her, the British girl hit the Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week with a wicker Chanel hamper fashioned into a purse. Creative, and handy for a front row picnic to boot!

Well, that's one way to draw attention to your designer handbag. Rachel Bilson stepped out with her latest purse du jour, a fiery red 3.1 Phillip Lim number. With a vibrant purse like this, your outfit has to take center stage. I dig the brilliant hue, though the geometric flaps aren't really my thing. What do you think?

She may be seen as the ultimate girl next door, but Rachel McAdams has a glamorous side too. The starlet looked dressed to kill in a form-fitting sheath, a classic trench, and lookie here; a divine Bally Keli handbag on a recent outing. I'm not surprised to see Rachel step out with Bally ; the classic, luxe brand is a better fit for her than an ultra-trendy handbag or an extravagant bag. Way to keep it smart and sophisticated.

Having the number one movie in the country will put a spring in any girl's step, and a Vienna-bound Beyonce is no exception. The starlet looked very upbeat on her trip, not to mention extremely trendy. There's a lot going on here with those jeans, caged YSL shoes, burnout tank, and a glitzy white Valentino handbag to boot. I'd probably take it down a notch, but I do dig that purse. What do you think?

Last time we saw Jessica Simpson carrying a Louis Vuitton handbag, she was wearing sweats. This time, the newly single starlet got it right, pairing her monogram purse with a summery floral frock on a recent night out. Okay, so the clashing prints are a bit of a hiccup, but it's good to see Jessica smiling again. Nothing like a little Louis Vuitton to perk a girl up!

“Twilight& actress Ashley Greene banned a bouquet of flowers and a beautiful bag (a black Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily purse, to be precise) on a recent outing. Though her outfit is pretty sporty, the handbag is smart and sophisticated. Just imagine how chic it would look with a grown-up sheath dress and heels!

Hilary Duff seems to love wearing her to-die-for Prada Fairy handbag with ultra-short shorts, as we've seen her do a couple of times now. At least she can pull them off, as she does with this kind of glam-casual ensemble consisting of cowboy boots, a crinkled green tunic and those aforementioned barely there shorts. The purse is easily one of the most coveted items of the year and Hil looks fab with it.
