For someone who designs handbags, Jessica Simpson sure does spend a lot of money carrying other people's couture creations. (Not that I blame her.) Already a well-known fan of Louis Vuitton and Roberto Cavalli, Jessica has now moved on to Dior, relying on a hot pink Lady Dior Woven Shopper to jazz up her low-key outfit of jeans and a gray shawl. Christian Dior's Autumn Winter 2008 Collection Show in Paris was attended by Lucy Liu, decked out in head to toe Dior. She wore stark white: a body conscious skirt suit and a fabulous white frame bag: the Dior Samourai 1947. This handbag comes in several incarnation, each one more intricate than the next. This one is rendered in white leather and suede, with a pleated design to add depth. The hardware is done in modern but classic tortoiseshell, a warm counter-balance for the coolness of the white.
