Confession: The year I went to Coachella, I was so ill-prepared for the staggering desert heat that I was forced to buy – don't judge – a trucker hat to keep the sun off my face. So imagine my chagrin to see all of these starlets looking tres adorable in their summery frocks and handbags. White and beige was a big trend purse-wise, with Kirsten Dunst carrying a slouchy taupe messenger bag with her LWD, Chloe Sevigny accenting her own white dress with a cream tote, and Dita Von Teese pairing her funky nautical playsuit with a vintage-looking ivory purse. Rachel Bilson sure loves Chanel. On more than a few accounts, we've seen her tote everything from the smallest messenger to a big roomy tote, as seen here. I really love the way the large bag balances her tiny frame without overpowering it.
